Abide With Me print from an Original Handlettered Watercolor Painting

“Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes; Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies; Heaven’s morning breaks and earth’s vain shadows flee; In life, in death, O Lord, Abide With Me”. 

Print is 8.5” x 11” on beautiful linen stock, signed by the artist and mailed in a protective sleeve within a rigid mailer. (There is a card available elsewhere on this site)

The beautiful words of the last verse of this old hymn, written in 1847, resounds with pain and yet hope. 

I have been looking for an idea for a condolence card (much requested by friends for years but I just didn’t have inspiration) until I saw just this verse
of this favorite hymn on a friend’s post.

It immediately spoke to me as a beautiful condolence message to those who hope in Christ. 
Having lost a friend this week as well, my mind was on such things. 
I pray this will give you encouragement and hope, as well as any to whom you might give it.
